General resources to calm the anxious mom brain:

KellyMom – An all around great resource for many questions, but be warned that the mobile layout is a bit hard to maneuver.

Blog for Parents – by Leah Jolly (IBCLC) that covers many important topics beyond breastfeeding, like ’12 Tips for Traveling with Baby’ and ’10 Ways Partners Can Bond with Their Baby’.

If you want to check which medications are safe for breastfeeding:

LactMed – Website where you can search by medication name and read the research and recommendations for lactating women.

Hale’s Medications & Mother’s Milk – The app is available for download, but it won’t have full availability unless you pay. Save the $$$ and contact me – I have the full version and will provide you with the information you need at no cost.

Infant Risk Center – If you prefer to speak with someone over the phone, the phone number for the call center is 1(806) 352-2519 and is open from 8 AM to 5PM CST to answer your questions.
